ഡബ്ലിൻ: ലൈംഗികാതിക്രമങ്ങളുടെ സ്കോപ്പിംഗ് അന്വേഷണ റിപ്പോർട്ട് പുറത്തു വന്നു. മതപരമായ ഉത്തരവുകളാൽ പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്ന പകൽ, ബോർഡിംഗ് സ്കൂളുകളിലെ ചരിത്രപരമായ ലൈംഗികാതിക്രമങ്ങളുടെ വെളിപ്പെടുത്തലുകളോടുള്ള സർക്കാരിൻ്റെ പ്രതികരണം അറിയിക്കുക എന്നതാണ് സ്കോപ്പിംഗ് അന്വേഷണത്തിൻ്റെ ലക്ഷ്യം. തുടർ നടപടികളെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള ശുപാർശകൾ ഉൾപ്പെടുത്തി മിസ് ഒ ടൂൾ വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ മന്ത്രി നോർമ ഫോളിക്ക് റിപ്പോർട്ട് സമർപ്പിച്ചു.

അയർലണ്ടിലെ 22 കൗണ്ടികളിലായി 40-ലധികം പേർക്ക് ചരിത്രപരമായ ലൈംഗികാതിക്രമ ആരോപണങ്ങളുടെ രേഖകളുണ്ട്. 1960 കൾക്കും 1990 കളുടെ തുടക്കത്തിനും ഇടയിലാണ് ലൈംഗികാതിക്രമങ്ങൾ നടന്നതെന്നും 1970 കളുടെ തുടക്കത്തിലും മധ്യത്തിലുമാണ് ഏറ്റവും കൂടുതൽ സംഭവങ്ങൾ റിപ്പോർട്ട് ചെയ്യപ്പെട്ടതെന്നും റിപ്പോർട്ടിൽ പറയുന്നു.

റിപ്പോർട്ടിൻ്റെ ഉള്ളടക്കം മന്ത്രി പരിഗണിക്കുകയും റിപ്പോർട്ട് സർക്കാരിന് സമർപ്പിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തിട്ടുണ്ട്. മതപരമായ ഉത്തരവുകളാൽ പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്ന പകൽ, ബോർഡിംഗ് സ്കൂളുകളിലെ ചരിത്രപരമായ ലൈംഗിക ദുരുപയോഗത്തെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള സ്കോപ്പിംഗ് അന്വേഷണത്തിൻ്റെ റിപ്പോർട്ട് ഇന്ന് (3 സെപ്റ്റംബർ 2024) രാവിലെ സർക്കാർ അംഗീകരിക്കുകയും അന്വേഷണ കമ്മീഷൻ സ്ഥാപിക്കാനുള്ള പ്രധാന ശുപാർശ അംഗീകരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു.

അയർലൻഡ് പ്രധാന മന്ത്രി സൈമൺ ഹാരിസ് സ്കോപ്പിംഗ് റിപ്പോർട്ടിനെ സ്വാഗതം ചെയ്യുകയും അതിനെ "വേദനിപ്പിക്കുന്ന വായന" എന്ന് വിശേഷിപ്പിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു. മതപരമായ ഉത്തരവുകളാൽ പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്ന സ്കൂളുകളിൽ കുട്ടികളെ ലൈംഗികമായി ദുരുപയോഗം ചെയ്തതായി ഏകദേശം 2,400 ആരോപണങ്ങൾ സ്കോപ്പിംഗ് അന്വേഷണത്തിൽ കണ്ടെത്തിയ സാഹചര്യത്തിലാണ് അദ്ദേഹത്തിൻ്റെ അഭിപ്രായങ്ങൾ.

രാജ്യത്തുടനീളമുള്ള 42 മതവിഭാഗങ്ങൾ നടത്തുന്ന 300-ലധികം സ്‌കൂളുകളിലായി 844 പേർ ദുരുപയോഗം ചെയ്യപ്പെട്ടു. സ്‌കൂളുകളിലെ ലൈംഗികാതിക്രമങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള സ്‌കോപ്പിംഗ് എൻക്വയറി റിപ്പോർട്ട്, ദുരുപയോഗം നടന്നതായി ആരോപിക്കപ്പെടുന്ന 308 സ്‌കൂളുകളെ തിരിച്ചറിഞ്ഞിട്ടുണ്ട്. 

അന്വേഷണത്തിൽ പങ്കെടുത്തവരിൽ ചിലർ ലൈംഗികാതിക്രമം നടത്തുന്നതിനോ സുഗമമാക്കുന്നതിനോ തങ്ങളുടെ സ്കൂളിൽ ഒന്നിലധികം സ്റ്റാഫ് അംഗങ്ങളുണ്ടെന്ന് ആരോപിച്ചു. ആ സ്‌കൂളുകളിലെ ചില വ്യക്തികൾ മറ്റ് സ്റ്റാഫ് അംഗങ്ങൾ കുട്ടികളെ ദുരുപയോഗം ചെയ്യാൻ സൗകര്യമൊരുക്കുന്നുണ്ടെന്ന തങ്ങളുടെ സംശയം അവർ വിവരിച്ചു. ചില കേസുകളിൽ, ദുരുപയോഗം നടക്കുന്നുണ്ടെന്ന് അതിൽ ഉൾപ്പെടാത്ത അധ്യാപകരും പ്രിൻസിപ്പൽമാരും അറിഞ്ഞിരുന്നതായി ആളുകൾ പറഞ്ഞു. ചില സ്‌കൂളുകളിൽ ഒരു പീഡോഫൈൽ റിംഗ് പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നുണ്ടെന്ന് തങ്ങൾ വിശ്വസിച്ചിരുന്നതായി നിരവധി പൂർവ വിദ്യാർത്ഥികൾ പറഞ്ഞു.
